2.  Need to look into liability insurance while using the trailer/float during parades/functions. To discuss with Rick Bingham the parameters for the insurance; such as specific timeframes for the insurance; will we need to call ahead to insure, and if so, how far in advance, etc.

3.  Need to locate the title for the old trailer and look to sell in order to recoup the funds allocated for the new trailer. A sudden offer had come up to purchase a replacement trailer which met the required safety requirements needed for the parade float, for $200.00, and was decided by the board members to purchase the trailer.

New Business

1.  Discussed, voted and approved of getting a good picture of the parade float at the next event (4th of July parade in Temecula), getting approx. 7-8 copies, having them framed (not to exceed $50.00) and gifting them to those who have supported the renovations of the float. Ken and Pam Dougherty to take for action and bring to the next meeting in August 2016.

2.  New float work progress – Will seat 8 personnel on the float; the submarine will have 14” of clearance from the road when not raised, and 4” of clearance when raised; will have stowage for the flags; base will be painted blue; new skirting and tires; intentions to paint the submarine with a new coat of black sealant material.

3.  Read the Rules/Regulations of the Temecula 4th of July Parade.

4.  Muster for the 4th of July Parade on Old Town Front Street, between 1st and 2nd Streets NLT 0900, to help set up the last minute incidentals of the parade float.

5.  Discussed the use of the parade float in the Labor Day Parade (Sept. 5th, 2016), in Norco, CA, and the Memorial Day parade in Wildomar, CA next year (2017).
